Students for Life of America exists to equip pro-life students. We exist to empower the Pro-Life Generation to abolish abortion. Students who have worked with us know that, in our quest to grow students into pro-life leaders, we offer guides, outreach materials, displays, training, mission trips, and Regional Coordinators (yes, literal human beings who live to serve pro-life students).
But that’s not all.
Students for Life’s 20 Regional Coordinators spread across the entire country each host at least one Leadership Workshop in their region during the school year for a grand total of 28 Workshops!
What is a Leadership Workshop?
These are one-day training events designed to help students grow. The Workshops are based on the Five Pillars of Activism (Effective Education, Public Policy, Impacting the Abortion Industry, Rapid Response, & Supportive Services). We truly believe that engagement in each of these areas is crucial to being a well-rounded pro-life activist.
Sessions, therefore, are themed around these Five Pillars. For instance, at the San Antonio Workshop, a former Planned Parenthood employee will speak about how to impact the abortion industry, expose their dirty business model and direct their clients elsewhere.
Students for Life provides the materials, location, and training – students only pay for their meal(s) at the Workshop (an average of $15). At most of the events, both breakfast and lunch are provided. Attendees can expect to spend their day from about 9:00AM – 5:00PM at their Workshop.
Workshops Are Region-Specific
What sets these Workshops apart is that they provide region-specific training. We invite speakers local to each city who have real experience doing pro-life work in those areas. Some of the Workshops (such as Boston) are even activism-based, and will include taking to the streets to have heart-changing conversations about abortion.
Find Your Workshop!
As a young pro-life activist, it can be hard to know where to start, what do to, & how to save lives. Let Students for Life teach you how! Odds are, we’ll be in a city near you. Check out our Workshops Page where you’ll find more information, dates, and registration links for upcoming Workshops.
