New Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler: “All Life is a Blessing”

Yersterday, at the Georgia State Capitol, congressmen, representatives, and other Georgia officials gathered in anxious anticipation to hear from the newly appointed Georgia Senator, Kelly Loeffler. Shortly after addressing the room, Governor Brian Kemp introduced businesswoman Loeffler who is set to succeed pro-life advocate Senator Johnny Isakson. Loeffler took to the podium saying, “I haven’t spent my life trying to get to Washington. But here’s what folks are gonna find out about me: I’m a lifelong conservative. Pro-Second Amendment. Pro-military. Pro-wall. And pro-Trump.” She continued to say that she has lived the American dream and grew up in a

Pro-Life High Schoolers Rock the Boat… By Handing Out Cupcakes

Now here’s a story you don’t see every day. Pro-life students at Norwin High School in Pennsylvania made local news headlines this week by passing out cupcakes. Yes, it is that easy for pro-lifers to create “controversy.”

Also, we’d like to add how impressed we are! That is a seriously cool printed napkin.

In a local news article, it takes a couple of read-throughs to figure out where exactly the controversy lies. The students didn’t get in trouble with the school or the law and the article makes no mention, until the very end, that it was fellow students who griped about it.

There’s something surreal and hilarious about watching a television news segment exclusively about high schoolers and cupcakes. But the wackiness doesn’t end there. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), who is as pro-abortion as they come and helps crush pro-lifers nationwide on a daily basis, took the side of the pro-life cupcake givers.

“The ACLU says a pro-life group has the right to hand out cupcakes and make an anti-abortion statement. However, now that the school has allowed them to, the ACLU says all school groups have a right now to promote their message, whether it’s political or not,” CBS Pittsburgh reported.

Yes. Duh. That has always been the rule at public schools, and anyone who has said otherwise has been wrong. We’re still shocked that the ACLU admitted that goes for pro-lifers, too, though.

The students who complained about the cupcake event reportedly noted that they weren’t allowed to form an LGBT club, saying they’d been forced to call it Diversity Club. This was refuted by the school, who said such a refusal had never taken place and it had always been called the Diversity Club.

All in all, this one’s entertaining. It’s funny how much “controversy” a cupcake can stir up – but only if it’s in the hands of a pro-life student. At least today, it was a win for free speech (out of the mouth of the ACLU, no less).
