In Birmingham, Alabama, Planned Parenthood is trying to build a new abortion facility. They’ve run into trouble though, as some construction companies and workers quit working there, when they realized what they were helping build. For example, in May, members of Students for Life convinced a construction worker to quit the same day he found out he was helping build an abortion facility.
A Students for Life leader recently told us that a worker for an electrical company was told not to talk to the people praying outside the construction site in Birmingham (members of CEC for Life and Students for Life), but he stopped to talk and pray with the pro-lifers outside. Shortly after, he was fired from his job by the company, which is believed to be C& J Electrical.
A pro-life construction worker found out that he was helping build an abortion facility in Birmingham, Alabama.
After talking to pro-lifers, his bosses fired him. His response? He knew he would be okay, and it was more important he not be complicit in evil.

Pro-life students and local pro-life groups are continuing to fight back against the building of this abortion facility and to offer real alternatives to abortion. If you want to assist in Alabama, please contact Katie Lodjic at firstname.lastname@example.org and she can connect you to the right people. You can find out more about the great work of CEC for Life here.
Students for Life and other pro-life groups rallied in Alabama in the Spring in support of the new Alabama pro-life law, which essentially prohibited all abortions.
We gathered in Alabama to let our nation know pro-life IS pro-love, and WE are the movement that has women’s backs.
